"It's been a sad sad day at the "Teenie Weenie Weinery"......

Everyone that knows me well or has seen this sweet baby on my website knows who
"Chloe' Sueann" is... This precious angel entered our lifes January 30, 2010   She was
born to Skittles & Cole.  A tiny tiny baby that required total care at 2 days old.  I had bottle
fed puppies before, but not with good results.  This was our first real success!
She was always born to be Donna and Greg's Baby girl.  During those first few weeks I
spent many days syringe feeding around the clock every 2 hours.  Chloe' slept in a bed
right beside us.  With a bottle warmer to warm her milk.   Everyday this girl fought to be
here with everything she had!  She was only 3 ounces at birth and Donna and I celebrated
every ounce she gained!  She checked on her every single day, usually twice.  Devoted to
her even then!  With many puppy prayers always...There were back sets and moments
when I was certain that she wouldn't pull through.  Many tears and fears of losing this
baby we all wanted so VERY much to live.  But one very important thing I learned from
Chloe' was to never give up!  She NEVER DID!  This girl was a fighter from the first breath
she took!  She lived up to how tough a "Dachshund" really is!
She endured multiple sub-Q injections to keep her hydrated when she couldn't eat.
Antibotics, oxygen, goopy supplements and any thing we could do to save this sweet girl.
She would just look up at me with those big eyes and I just knew I had to fight for her as
hard as she was!
She had to be fed so often that her Mommy sent a beautiful carrier to transport her on her
outings!  Chloe' went everywhere with us!  She became our baby and we her
parents...totally dependant on us for all her needs.
....Finally!....after many weeks Chloe turned the corner!  She gained weight and began to
eat on her own!
She was ready to make the trip to her Forever home with Greg and Donna in Virginia!
Looking back I'm not sure how I ever let her go...I only know that Donna and Greg loved
her just as much as we did.  I was sure that Chloe's life was going to be perfect with the
perfect family to love her.  Somedays... it seems like yesterday...
So it is with Great Sadness that I say ...Our sweet baby girl...." Chloe' Sueann" crossed
over the rainbow bridge yesterday.  Although her life was short, she was loved as much in
the 6 years she was alive as if she had lived 20 years!  Chloe' lived each day to its fullest,
and was loved the same way!
Her Mom and Dad were devoted to her and gave her the very very best of everything!  No
dog could have been loved more than Chloe'
She was and will always be very special to us. Because of Chloe' I learned how to care for
such tiny puppies.  Over the years....because of Chloe' others have babies blessed with
the love, TLC and special care of the "WICU"
(Weenie Intensive Care Unit) She taught us way more than we ever taught her! She takes
with her a piece of our hearts.  We love you sweet Chloe' and will see you again someday!
You will always be a part of Our Teenie Weenie Family.

Love and Prayers to our Dear Friends...Donna & Greg  We love you!
